LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Colder months are coming and that means people will need coats. For households in need, however, getting new coats won’t be such a simple job.
That’s why Eastside Neighborhood Movement Center, in partnership with One Warmth Coat, is web internet hosting a coat drive all through the month of October. Area residents are invited to donate gently used coats that will go to households and other people in need.
Kristy Hagarty is an space resident who works as a coat drive ambassador.
“We’re smitten by our upcoming coat drive and invite the group to participate and assist our efforts,” Hagarty said. “As a result of persevering with monetary catastrophe created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for coats this fall and winter is perhaps greater than ever sooner than.
